  • Develop a vertical or territory depending on your area of expertise and network

  • Locate, manage and close direct enterprise sales opportunities
  • Enable indirect channels with OEMs and System Integration (SI Partners) who want to build a practice or market offering around our real-time analytic application development platform

Solution Consultant for Analytic Applications

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Reports to: Sr. Director of Professional Services

  • Help prototype solutions using Vitria’s platform called VIA for the development of real-time analytic applications
  • Work with customers, the Vitria sales team and with our OEM/Reseller partners to define solution requirements and create new solutions and solution examples
  • Collaborate with Vitria product management, support and engineering on the features and capabilities of our product to make customers successful

 

Required Skills:

  • Solution development experience

Director of Product Marketing

Vitria is looking for an experienced marketer to join our team to lead product marketing efforts. The role will cover all facets of marketing from customer segmentation & insights, positioning, messaging, communications and content development. You will lead across functions, with product, sales, and marketing, to develop and assist in executing marketing strategy for our products.

Vitria empowers customers and partners to rapidly create value with the VIA IoT Analytics and Automation Platform. VIA applies the power of advanced analytics to IoT and real-time scenarios enabling customers to accelerate initiatives and transform their business. The platform leverages faster analytics, rapid, innovation, and smarter actions to accelerate better outcomes for the demanding requirements of the IoT era.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a full understanding of who the Vitria customer is: Who they are, what motivates them, how they make decisions. Using this to build implications for brand, messaging, targeting profiles, and lead gen activities.
  • Build marketing plans and activities for Vitria’s existing and new products/features and management of go-to-market activities across PR, Lead Gen, Website, and Sales Enablement.
  • Development of content strategy to assist in lead generation efforts – SEO, nurture, and paid acquisition.
  • Communicate marketing strategy to sales; develop new sales strategies, presentations, tools, and training; brief sales on product introduction and launch strategies.
  • Be the expert on the market landscape – What are our competitors doing? How do we position ourselves? What are the implications for Product development?
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to develop references, drive case studies, and develop champions.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience with demonstrated success of Marketing driving revenue
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; highly effective presentation skills
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering sales tools and content that drive pipeline, higher win rates, and revenue through integrated programs
  • Must be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment and switch rapidly from strategy to execution
  • BA/BS in a technical or marketing field or equivalent real-world experience
  • An MBA from a well-regarded institution, while not required, would be considered an additional advantage

Senior Manager, Marketing Operations

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations will develop and implement creative solutions to marketing’s operational requirements and challenges. As a hands-on operational leader and day-to-day manager, you work collaboratively with sales, marketing and other cross-functional teams. As a marketing leader, you will build, evangelize, and deliver world-class marketing operations to support our sales and marketing teams to further accelerate our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day to day management of the Marketing Operations team, delivering on marketing programs, database maintenance and reporting.
  • Strategic and tactical oversight of Hubspot and the interactions with other integrated systems such as Salesforce, predictive scoring solutions, data sources, BI, etc.
  • Lead the definition and creation of best practices, maintenance of campaigns, programs, drip and nurture programs, lead scoring, data integrity, etc.
  • Optimize lead scoring and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales development for qualification and for increasing efficiencies and conversation rates.
  • Provide leadership in defining, mapping, and documenting key marketing processes.
  • Effective manage a variety of technology, data, and service vendors.
  • Provide exemplary services to internal customer such as sales, marketing, executives and others.
  • Improve and optimizing marketing automation programs and workflows to meet business demands
  • Build reports and dashboards to provide visibility in marketing campaign results and measure campaign effectiveness, including channel metrics, lead distribution, opportunity stages, pipeline contribution, and profitability of MQLs.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive career experience and hands-on execution in marketing automation / operations / analytics
  • Advanced user of Hubspot and Salesforce or related systems
  • Demonstrated ability of leading and managing high performing teams
  • High attention to detail, well organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the use of business analytics, key performance indicators and dashboards
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation strategies and testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets into concrete business recommendations for marketing and sales leadership, with the goal to optimize revenue-generating investments
  • Understanding of data mining, data warehousing, business intelligence, and lead management processes and technologies
  • Proven success building B2B marketing funnels, scaling profitable demand, optimizing lead handoff processes, and exceeding ROI targets at a growing startup
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
