Staff Engineers MTS
(Platform)
Job Roles (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Owns one or more functional modules for the full development lifecycle.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Builds the product through software development, delivery, implementation, maintenance and testing.
- Actively explores new technologies that might improve the product.
- Generates important innovations that profoundly improve the product.
- Keeps the product on the cutting edge. Has influence across multiple product components.
Job Requirements (Technical skills, years of relevant experience, education, certification, etc.):
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 1-5 years programming experience, with a focus on Java programming.
- Self-starter with a passion for software development.
- Has a track record of innovative design, implementation and deployment.
- Prior experience with Flex or Ajax is a plus
- Prior experience with Enterprise Application Integration and Business Intelligence is a plus.
