Bob Meindl oversees Vitria's global sales efforts across all the company's key vertical markets. His responsibilities include both direct and indirect sales, worldwide field support, field strategy and planning, and sales operations. Mr. Meindl has been in the software industry for over 17 years.

Over his career, Mr. Meindl has served in a variety of senior management positions -- most recently as vice president of world wide sales for the Aqualogic product stack at BEA Systems. In that capacity he oversaw the sales of all Aqualogic products from their inception and was a member of the Aqualogic Senior Management Team.

Prior to that Mr. Meindl was the head of sales for MetaMatrix Inc., the leading enterprise information integration vendor, where he was responsible for building the sales organization. Additionally, Mr. Meindl has held sales management and sales roles in companies such as Reuters, Bridge Information Systems and Giga Information Group. He received his BA from Marist College.
